Officials with Grand Valley State University’s Muskegon-based renewable-energy center say a new partnership with a Spanish counterpart will lead to more advanced wind energy research on the Great Lakes.
Barton is accused of failing to divorce his long-estranged wife, who lives in Rhode Island, before remarrying last July on the beach at Muskegon’s Kruse Park.
The prosecution and defense have both rested their cases in the trial of Scott Allan Herrick.
Evan Daniel Emory pleaded no contest Monday to a reduced felony count. He will serve 60 days in jail, two years of probation and 200 hours of community service.
