Dispatchers said the fire may have started in a wood stove in the residence at 13965 68th Ave. Firefighters arrived to find flames.
Kentwood Firefighters responded to 270 Wandercrest SE shortly after 7 p.m. to find the back end of the mobile home completely engulfed in flames.
One of the women was a resident of the seventh floor apartment where the fire occurred, while the other reportedly was a woman who helped her get out of the apartment.
Aero Med is flying to the scene.
