The prison, in the Upper Peninsula community of Kincheloe near Sault Ste. Marie, is a minimum- and medium-security facility.
Seth Privacky, convicted in what may be Muskegon County’s worst-ever mass murder, was shot and killed Thursday morning while trying to escape from an Upper Peninsula prison, a Department of Corrections official has confirmed.
