Police say a mother-daughter team from Egelston Township broke into a Muskegon Township home Saturday and brought along the younger woman’s 2-year-old daughter, whom officers found dirty and unkempt in the back seat of their vehicle.
“She’s home and she’s talking,” the grandmother said.
Police said today that they had received “new information” Sunday and would be following up.
The 9-year-old Muskegon girl abducted from her bus stop early Friday and assaulted in a nearby alley was discovered naked and dazed, stumbling toward her grandfather and pleading for help when authorities found her, her grandmother said.
