ALLEGAN — Allegan County officials hope the third time is a charm in their attempts to get federal money to assess an estimated 400-plus contaminated sites within the county.
The county’s Board of Commissioners on Thursday approved an application to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for a $400,000 Hazardous Substances and Petroleum Assessment grant.
